The most common way for new homes to achieve energy compiance is via a NatHERS star assessment. We model your dwelling in simulation software, provide you with feedback on ways to improve the thermal efficiency of the design, and reccommend insulation and glazing products required to achieve compliance. Once finalised, we provide a nationally recognised accredited NatHERS certificate.

The National Construction Code provides us another acceptable method to assess new homes; a series of regulations that are often referred to as the "Deemed to Satisfy" provisions. This method is simple, procedural, and most often suited to assessing extensions or additions. If this method yields the best results for your project, we can provide you with a Deemed to Satisfy report.

Custom designs sometimes require a custom assessment. When NatHERS or Deemed to Satisfy pathways yield less than favourable results, we can use a Performance Solution assessment to find a better outcome. Class 3, 5, 6, 7, 8,9 andcommon area of a Class 2 buildingN require a Section J report. We provide Section J reports for commercial projects that minimise the total cost required to achieve energy compliance. We are able to provide reports based on the 2022 or 2019 National Construction Codes, whichever is currently relevant in your State or Territory.
